(Capcom) today announced that <em>Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak<\/em> for Nintendo Switch and PC, a massive premium expansion for <em>Monster Hunter Rise<\/em>, is scheduled for release on June 30, 2022.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"mT15\">The <em>Monster Hunter<\/em> series consists of hunting action games that pit players against giant monsters in a beautiful natural environment. Beginning with the first title in 2004, the series established a new genre in which players cooperate to hunt ferocious monsters with their friends and has since grown into a global phenomenon with cumulative sales of the series exceeding 78 million units shipped as of December 31, 2021.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"mT15\"><em>Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak<\/em> is a massive premium expansion for <em>Monster Hunter Rise<\/em> (<em>Rise<\/em>, below), a title which has shipped more than 8 million units globally (as of January 18, 2022). In addition to new quest ranks, locales, monsters and never-before-experienced hunting actions, players will be able to enjoy new story elements as well.
